Introduction to Conference Interpreting
Conference Interpreting is a specialised form of oral translation that is practiced at meetings and conferences. This lesson introduces you to the modes of conference interpreting and explains the origins of the profession. By the end of the lesson, you should understand the difference between conference interpreting and other forms of interpreting. You should also understand the history of interpreting, where it is used and why it is so specialised.
